Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the delay of response of exhaust gas recirculation, by retaining the opening of an exhaust recirculating amount controlling valve great for a certain period by a signal when, during running of a car, speed change operation is conducted, and a throttle is opened.
CONSTITUTION: Signals R, TH, C, I, V, S are inputted from sensors 13W18 for engine rotational speed, throttle opening degree, cooling water temperature, idling state, car speed and speed changing into a control circuit 12 for producing an exhaust gas recirculation amount controlling signal. The signals R, TH are inputted into an arithmetic circuit 19 in the circuit 12, the signal I is inputted into an idle judging apparatus 25 therein, the signal V is inputted into a car speed judging apparatus 24 therein, and the signal S is inputted into a speed change judging apparatus 23. The judging apparatus 24 judges whether the car is running, and supplies an H level signal to an AND gate 26, the judging apparatus 25 judges that the throttle is operated from its fully closed state to open, and supplies an H level signal to a gate 26, and the judging apparatus 23 judges speed change, and likewise supplies an H level signal to the gate 26. An H level signal is outputted from the gate 26, and a change-over apparatus 29 is retained for a certain period of time by a timer 27 to keep the opening of the exhaust gas recirculation amount controlling valve great.
