Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a recorder which is assembled easily and adjusted safely, by using an optical fiber for the incident section of laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A light input end 21a of an optical fiber 21 is located on the focus of an image forming lens 9 and aligned with a block 22. The entire optical fiber 21 is fixed to the block 22 with a retaining plate 23. An output end 21b of the optical fiber 21 is located in front of the photodetector 16, which is attached to a printer control circuit board 24. The laser beam 12 transmitted through the lens 9 is reflected on a mirror 13 and forms an image at the input end of the optical fiber 21. When the laser beam is scanned and reaches the input end 21a of the optical fiber, it propagates inside the fiber 21 and is incident to the detector 16 for the production of output.
