Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate contained-water surely in a solid-liq. separating device used for treating garbages etc., by providing a blade-wheel or a cantilevered elastic plate to scatter slurry, from an upper charging port, onto a screen.
CONSTITUTION: A blade-wheel 6 is provided along a screen 4b of a filter 4 housed in a solid-liq. separating device A, and a discharging port 3a is provided at the upper side of the device A. When slurry, containing mixture of crushed garbages and water, is charged into a storage tank 2 from a charging port 3a, it once falls onto the upper surface of the blades of the wheel 6. At this time, the slurry is scattered toward the screen 4b by the wheel 6, rotating in the direction of the arrow, because the blades are inclined downward to the screen 4b. In this way, only the water passes through the screen 4b and falls onto a pan 4a to be discharged to a sewerage from a pipe 5. On the other hand, though the garbages are once stuck to the outside surface of the screen 4b, but are stripped off by the successively scattering slurry, and fall onto the bottom of the tank 2.
