Abstract

PURPOSE:To initialize a powered-up device in parallel to power feed to other devices by powering up one device in the order of power feed when a system is powered up and by powering up the following device on the completion of power feed. CONSTITUTION:A power source unit PWU supplied with electric power from a commercial power source terminal AC starts operation by receiving a command from a controller interface SPC through a unit-power-source controlling circuit UPC, and then the initialization of each unit is performed through the operation of a unit control interface UCI by a command from a unit controlling interface SCI. A main body CPU, CH-, and input-output equipments I/O-1, I/O-2- are started and initialized by the system in prescribed order of power feed, and for powered-up equipments, flags showing that they are powered up are set; and an initializing program supervises the flags and starts the operation, thus performing initialization successively.
