Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the economy of fuel cost and the output performance, and to purify exhaust gas, by providing a communication passage, for communicating an auxiliary suction port with a main suction port, adjacent to a control opening of an ON-OFF valve that will be opened at the time of high load.
CONSTITUTION: The main suction port 10 and the auxiliary suction port 11 are provided, which auxiliary suction port 11 will be closed later than the main suction port 10, and is provided with a cylindrical ON-OFF valve 17 that will be opened at the time of high load. Thus, the ignitability at the time of low load is improved, favorable driving by a thin mixed gas is effected, and the economy of fuel cost is improved.
