Abstract

PURPOSE: To form desired patterns on the surface of aluminum extruded pro- files by controlling said profiles to surface roughness of specific values, printing and sticking resist ink on the surface and etching the same.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of extruded profiles of aluminum or its alloy is controlled to surface roughness of ≤2.05μm max. height. In the case of using acidic liquid such as "Lhasa blast ", as a chemical method, it is accomplished at about 80W100°C liquid temps. for about 30secW30min, and in the case of using, for example, alkaline liquid such as caustic soda, it is accomplished at about 35W60°C liquid temps. and for about 3W8min. There is, for example, polishing with a sander, as a physical method, wherein abrasive paper of about E800WE1,200 is used. Thence, resist ink is printed and stuck on the profile surface and the unstuck parts are etched. Etching liquid of, for example, sulfuric acid system, is used and the etching is accomplished at about 30W45°C for about 30secW3min.
