Abstract
PURPOSE:To correct a flare, by providing an output of a clamping circuit, and that which has mixed this output through a nonlinear circuit, to an integration circuit, and generating a correcting signal being approximate to a flare characteristic. CONSTITUTION:When a video signal VS1 is applied to an input terminal IN, it is clamped by a clamping circuit 1 and is fixed to a direct current. The fixed signal is applied to the base of TR4 through a resistance R14 and a variable resistance R18 from the emitter of a transistor (TR)3. When a variable resistance R17 or R18 is varied, a nonlinear signal is outputted from a nonlinear circuit 6. This nonlinear signal, and a signal which has passed through a resistance R15 from the clamping circuit 1 are mixed in the base of TR4, and are applied to an integration circuit 2 from the emitter of TR4. The integration circuit 2 detects DC voltage of a mean value of a signal appearing in the emitter of TR1, chops is by a chopper 3, and mixes an output of the chopper 3 and an output of the clamping circuit 1, by which a desired flare correcting signal is obtained.
