Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity for roofing while heat insulation is constructed, by forming heat insulation layers with segments made of Perlite concrete. CONSTITUTION:Inside the underground continuous wall 1, a heat insulation layer 12 is constructed by placing segments 11 of Perlite concrete both in the vertical and horizontal directions with spacings corresponding to the thickness of the concrete mass structure 2. These segment 11 are manufactured from Perlite concrete in advance at a works and, at site, formed into a curvature to suit the curved underground continuous wall 1. On its outside surfaces, recessed taps 13 are previously installed. According to this arrangement, roofing for the work of insulation construction will be unnecessitated.
