Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep a smoke value under a certain value at the time of a full load which depends upon an atmospheric condition by providing an arithmetic unit in a control unit which compensates a maximum fuel injection amount of a pre-memorized standard condition basing upon the data for fuel temperature, atmospheric temperature and pressure etc.
CONSTITUTION: An output from each sensor 4 to 6 which detects exhaust pressure, intake air pressure, and a number of revolutions respectively, signals from a sensor 7 and 8 which senses an atmospheric pressure and temperature respectively, a signal from a sensor 8 which senses fuel temperature which comes from a fuel injection pump 2, and a signal which indicates an opening of an acceleration pedal 10 etc., are fed into a control unit 1. The control unit 1 determines a fuel injection amount (a), injection timing (b) basing upon the inputs mentioned in the aboves to instruct the fuel pump 2 thereabout for the fuel pump 2 to inject fuel into an engine 3 basing upon the instructions thereof.
