Abstract

PURPOSE:To inhibit the charging of a battery properly even when its charging property is high, and to prevent an excessive temperature rise due to self-heating by decreasing the output of the generator in response to the rise of the number of revolution in a high-speed revolution region of an engine. CONSTITUTION:When the output voltage of a stator coil 1 is a set value or lower, a transistor Tr 8 is at off and a Tr 6 is at on and an exciting coil 2 is conducted; when the output voltage is the set value or higher, the Tr 8 is at on and the Tr 6 is at off and the conduction of the exciting coil 2 is interupted. An oscillator 13 outputs pulse signals c, d having frequency proportional to engine revolution member signals outputted from a signal generator 14. A comparator 30 turns a Tr 31 off when the number of revolution of the engine reaches a set value or higher. Accordingly, the pulse signals c are transmitted to the Tr 8, and the output voltage of the generator decreases in response to the rise of the member of revolution of the engine.
