Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the horizontal linearity even if the power source voltage is low, by providing a tap in a prescribed position of a deflecting coil and connecting the collector of a transistor and a capacitor to this tap. CONSTITUTION:A current I1 is flowed to a coil 2A in the latter half of the horizontal scanning time, and a current I2 is flowed to the coil 2A through a diode 5 in the first half of this time. When the power source voltage, the saturation voltage between the collector and the emitter of a transistor TR3, and the forward drop voltage of the diode 5 are denoted as VCC, VCE, and VF respectively and a coil part 2B is substituted with a DC power source V6, a voltage V1 applied to the coil 2A for flowing of the current I1 is equal to VCC-VCE, and a voltage V2 applied to the coil 2A for flowing of the current I2 is equal to VCC+VF-V6. Consequently, if the position of a tap is so selected that V6=VF+VCE is true, V2=V1 is true, and thus, the horizontal linearility is improved even if the power source voltage VCC is low.
