Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the fixing of a heater by welding the heater to an auxiliary fixing board then arranging the auxiliary fixing board in the proximity of a cathode supporting pin to weld the heater to the cathode supporting pin thereafter removing the auxiliary fixing board. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary fixing board 12 made of stainless steel formed with a hole 13 to be inserted with a coil heater and a bent section 14 extending across said hole 13 is prepared. A coiled heater 2 is wound around a molybdenum core then inserted into a hole 13 in the auxiliary board 12 and to weld the end section to the auxiliary board 12. Thereafter the core is fused and removed by the mixture of the sulfuric acid and the nitric acid. Then the auxiliary board 12 is fixed to a welder 18 arranged with the cathode supporting pins 6a, 6b planted on an insulated supporter 5, thereafter one end of the heater 2 is welded to the supporting pin 6a and the bent section 14 is developed to expand the heater 2 and to weld the other end to the supporting pin 6b. Consequently the fixing of the heater is facilitated.
