Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve excellent picture, by locating a vapor-deposited tape so that a sharp angle between an easy magnetization axis of a head trailing edge and a head magnetic field can be greater than that of a head leading edge and the field. CONSTITUTION:Vapor-deposition with a slope is carried out on a base film 1 being a base, by irradiating electron beam 9 on a ferromagnetic metal 8 such as Co or Co alloy. The head is located so that the tape 22 proceeds to the direction of the arrow 20 as theta3>theta4, allowing to obtain excellent reproduced picture.
