Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit starting of a motor under any stopped state by a device wherein a differentiation circuit is provided at an output terminal of a magnetic sensitive element for an rpm detection circuit including the magnetic sensitive element, and output of the differentiation circuit is used for rpm detection.
CONSTITUTION: When rotation is stopped and a magnet approaches a magnetic sensitive element 61, output of an rpm detection circuit 7 assumes a high level because the magnetic sensitive element 61 is turned on but a capacitor 65 in a differentiation circuit 62 is nterrupted. In other states, the element 61 is turned off and a transistor 68 in the differentiation circuit 62 is turned on just when the capacitor is first charged, so that output of the rpm detection circuit 7 also assumes a high level. Thus, under any stopped state, outputs assume the same level and hence an addition circuit 5 is able to cause a motor 24 to rotate. In such a manner, the motor can be started from any stopped state.
