Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the cooling time of a parison and improve productivity, by cooling forcibly to stretch temperature in a temperature adjusting pot the bottomed parison released from an injection mold at the temperature range capable to hold the shape. CONSTITUTION:An injection molded bottomed parison 1 is released from a mold at shape holding temperature (e.g. ca. 120 deg.C on polyethyleneterephthalate) and contained in the cavity 4 of a temperature adjusting pot 2 together with a neck mold 7, and its temperature is adjusted partially by arranging a thermal insulation layer 5 if necessary and it is cooled by the cooling body 4 (the thermal insulation layer is unnecessary when the entire is uniformly cooled.). The parison 1 is drawn off after its temperature is adjusted to the stretch temperature, it is stretched blow molding in the following stage. By this, the partial temperature adjustment during the cooling time becomes easy and the high quality hollow molded article is obtained by selection of the thermal insulation layer etc.
