Abstract
PURPOSE:To encode information without changing an encoding table, by inserting a code, which is opposite to divided picture information and has length 0, between respective blocks and transmit it in the facsimile encoding processing system using the encoding table. CONSTITUTION:A picture is converted to a binary electric signal by a picture reading part 1, and length of run is discriminated by a run discriminating part 2. The binary electric signal is divided on a basis of discriminated run length information, and a code of length 0 is inserted. A run length code is generated on a basis of divided signals and is transmitted to the output side. Consequently, the current encoding table is used to divide a run length, which exceeds a range of the encoding table, into plural parts and encode it.
