Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a titled device and improve its treatment capacity by the device of the constitution wherein high pressure air is acted upon the muck- included mud water introduced into a tank and the mud water and the muck are forcibly separated.
CONSTITUTION: Plural filter medium layers 18W20 are provided in a tank 16, and a high pressure air ejection pipe 26 is provided between these filter medium layers. A high pressure air lead-in pipe 32 for introducing high pressure air and a muck- included mud water lead-in pipe 30 for introducing muck-includes mud water are provided to the space 17 in the upper part in the tank. Also, a rotary vane wheel 34 on the uppermost filter medium layer in proximity thereto and a muck discharge pipe 42 which discharges the dehydrated muck moved by this vane wheel to the outside of the tank are provided. The mud water is introduced through the pipe 30 into the tank 16, and the vane wheel 34 is rotated; at the same time, high pressure air is introduced through the pipe 32. The water content successively flows down in the filter medium layers, and the muck (sand and soil) is moved in the rotating direction by the vanes 40 and is discharged from the discharge pipe 42. The cleaning of the filter media is accomplished by ejecting high pressure air from the pipe 26.
