Abstract

The electric potential of latent image from a probe 43 of the electrometer of the surface is measured by a measuring circuit 111 of electric potential of the surface, and is converted by A/D converter 113. Then, it is fed to the micro-computer 109. The micro-computer 109 operates to converge the measured electric potential to the target value selected by a switching board 115. The operated signal is analog-converted by a D/A converter 119 through a bus line 117. The analog signal is supplied to high tension control circuits 121, 123 and 125 and a mixing circuit 127.
