Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a color copy with good color balance, by providing a set value converging means for both the bright and dark parts plus a setting means which gives a fine adjustment to the target value with every separated color of an original image in accordance with the detection signal of the surface potential of a photoreceptor and switching these means individually or simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A color original on a platen 3 is irradiated via a filter 15 on a drum 1 which received an even electric charging and then transcribed onto the transfer paper 51 on a drum 55 after the development. The static potential is detected between an entire surface exposure lamp 39 and a developing machine 41, through a potential detecting part 43. The value of the static potential is fed to a computer to set a prescribed target value. This target value is decided in three steps. In this connection, a fine adjustment board is provided and a fine adjustment is given from outside to produce a picture fine adjustment signal. Thus the control is exercised over the halogen voltage, the primary charged current, the negative grid voltage, the secondary charged voltage and the positive grid voltage respectively. In such a way, a color copy is obtained with high quality.
