Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress thr quantity of heat generated from a generator and to improve the rapid responsiveness of the generator by composing a field coil of the first superconductive coil for applying a field current at the normal time and the second superconductive coil connected to an impedance for applying field current in the variation. CONSTITUTION:Field coil (superconductive coil) designed for cryogenic temperature is composed of first and second field coils 71, 72. A resistive impedance 8 is connected to the second coil 72. The field current applied to the field coils 71, 72 is controlled by DC converters 61, 62 operated by the instruction of the automatic voltage regulator 40, and the field current at the normal time is applied to the field coil 72 in the amount corresponding to the variation in the case that the output voltage of the generator 1 is varied. The field coil 72 shares only immediately after the current of the variation varies, and an automatic voltage regulator 40 is controlled to gradually shift it to the field coil 71.
