Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the safe operation of the motor block with a smll capacity generator by outputting a starting signal of each pole change type motor within the maximum allowable range of starting current to keep any instantaneous drop in a generator terminal voltage within an allowable range. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 5 calculates a maximum allowable starting current value at each cycle of processings to hold the termial voltage of the generator 1 for supplying the pole change type motor 4 within allowable instantenous voltage drop range preset. A start permitting signal is outputted to a starter 3 of the pole change type motor 4 in such a mannner that the sum of starting current can be held within the maximum allowable range of starting current thus calculated. This enables safe operation of a plurality of motors with the small capacity generator.
