Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a device from inflow of an ion current coming from an adjacent charger by setting an insulator wall between the two chargers, for a unified body of two corona chargers having application volgates in different levels. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic receptor 1 having an insulated coat layer receives the even charging with electricity through a charger 3. The receptor 1 receives an image exposure right after the charging uniformly and while receiving the charging of the adverse polarity through a charger 2. Thus an electrostatic image is formed. An insulator wall 7 is set between the chargers 2 and 3 to prevent the evil effect caused by the inflow of an ion current from an adjacent charger.
