Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the characteristics of a receptor even if the receptor is used repeatedly and to maintain the high sensitivity by combining a charge generating layer contg. a specified disazo pigment with a charge transferring layer contg. a specified hydrazone compound. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 44 composed of a charge generating layer 22 and a charge transferring layer 33 is formed on an electrically conductive support 11. The layer 22 is made of layer contg. a disazo pigment represented by formula 1, and the layer 33 is made of layer contg. a hydrazone compound represented by general formula 2 (where R1 is methyl, ethyl, 2-hydroxyethyl or 2-chloroethyl, R2 is methyl, ethyl, benzyl or phenyl, and R3 is H, Cl, Br, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, dialkylamino or nitro). The percentage of the disazo pigment in the layer 22 is 10-100wt%, and that of the hydrazone compound in the layer 33 is 10-80wt%.
