Abstract

PURPOSE: A photosetting resin composition with low viscosity and lowered skin- irritating property, useful for a paint and a printing ink, which is prepared by adding a photosensitizer to a mixture of a specified unsaturated acrylate resin and vinyl versatate.
CONSTITUTION: A photosetting resin compositin is prepared by adding 0.1W 10pts.wt. of a photosensitizer (e.g. benzoin or benzophenone) to 100pts.wt. of a mixture of 50W99wt% an unsaturated acrylic resin (e.g., an epoxy-acrylic resin or a urethane-acrylic resin) of MW≥300, preferably 300W5,000, having at least one, preferably at least two acryloyl groups in one molecule, with 50W1wt% vinyl versatate of the formula (wherein R1, R2 and R3 are alkyl, totally containing 7W9C) (e.g., a branched vinyl carboxylic, in which R1 is CH3 R2 is C4W6H9W13, and R3 is CH3 or C2H5).
