Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition that is composed of a specific polyester resin, a photopolymerizable monomer or prepolymer and a photopolymerization initiator, thus having high suitability as a printing ink and giving good photocuring and ink- film-forming properties to the ink.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyester resin that contains, as essential alcohol components, hydrogenated disphenol-A and one selected from compounds of the formula [R1, R2 are -OC2H4O-, -O(C2H4)2, -OC3H6, -O(C3H6)2O-] and, assential acid com ponents, compounds selected from dodecenylsuccinic acid or its lower alkyl ester and dedecenylsuccnic anhydride is combined with (B) photopolymerizable monomers bearing ehtylenically unsaturated double bonds and/or its prepolymer and (C) a photopolymerization initiator. The contents of the essential alcohol components and the essential acid components are preferably more than 40wt% on the basis of the total alcohol and acid components respectively.
