Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the shock at the time of reacceleration and prevent abnormal combustion by delaying the ignition time at a value later than the optimum value when the engine is shifted from the fuel interrupted state to the reaccelerated state and placing a predetermined limit on the value in the direction of delay in the ignition time. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 5 is supplied with signals from an angle senser, a load senser 2, a throttle switch 3 and fuel interruption detecting means 4, and calculates an ignition signal and opens or closes a transistor 12 of an igniting device 11 to cause the same to perform an igniting operation. From the signals of the throttle switch 3 and fuel interruption detecting means 4 it is detected that the time is a reacceleration time after the fuel interruption, and there is performed an operation which delays by a predetermined value or a value corresponding to the optimum ignition time value, from the optimum ignition time value. By this procedure, the shock at the time of reacceleration is prevented. Further, by placing a limit in the delaying direction of the ignition time value, the engine is controlled so that the angle of delay is not assumed, to prevent abnormal combustion.
