Abstract

PURPOSE:To conduct stable operation of the wind power generator by providing a directional primary delay unit becoming a time constant similar to that of a windmill when the air speed is increased and becoming a short time constant when the air speed is decreased and selecting a load with the signal. CONSTITUTION:When wind speed becomes higher than a predetermined value, it is detected by a level detector 10 connected to an anemometer 8, a motor 4 is started to rotate the windmill 1 in a stable range, and thereafter the air speed is detected by a load selector 6. Thus, loads 71-73 are selected, are connected to a generator 2 to obtain an electric power. When the wind speed voltage obtained by the anemometer generator 9 is raised, and a load selector 6 is controlled by the direction primary delay unit for generating an output having a delay in the vicinity of the time constant of the windmill 1 and generating an output having less delay in the vicinity of the wind speed voltage when the wind speed is lowered. Consequently, even when the air speed is abruptly increased, or even if the wind speed is lowered, the windmill can be always stably rotated continuously.
