Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the supplying amount of liquid fuel to be a minimum required amount for the generation, by providing a material, which transmits only a produced gas, on a produced-gas outlet side of a separator which works for separating and exhausting only the produced gas. CONSTITUTION:An anolyte 6 is supplied into an anolyte room which is within a battery body 10 by means of a pump 14, before it is circulated through a gas-liquid separator 15 and an anolyte tank 13. A part of the methanol liquid within the anolyte 6 is consumed in the battery body 10. A mixture body 7 which consists of remaining anolyte, as well as carbon-dioxide gas, steam and a produced gas contaminated with methanol vapor which are produced within the battery body 10 flows into the gas-liquid separator 15. In the separator, the produced gas exchange heat with an air 8. By means of a bellowlike selective-transmittance film 18 which is provided beside a produced-gas exhaust-part 17 of the separator 15, the carbon- dioxide gas only is exhausted into the external air.
