Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a cooling structure by installing a guide pipe of an oxidizing agent so as to abut on a heat exchanger, cooling fuel with the oxidizing agent in the heat exchanger, and cooling an air electrode with the oxidizing agent passed through the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A required amount of air for oxidizing or cooling is passed through a heat exchanger 19 installed in an anolyte circular path 14 with a blower 12 to cool an anolyte 7 there. The air 9 passed through the heat exchanger 19 is fed to an air room 5 from a guid pipe 13 to do a specified job. An oxidizing agent 9 is used for oxidizing and cooling an air electrode 3 as well as cooling the anolyte 7. This can eliminate an additional cooling apparatus.
