Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the follow-up and efficiency of a fuel cell generating system, by providing a reformed gas storage tank on the gas passage between the fuel cell and a reformer. CONSTITUTION:Fuel gas X is reformed by a reformer 3, and changed into reformed fuel gas whose main component is hydrogen, then fed into a fuel cell 1 through a flow meter 9a'. A reformed fuel storage tank 6 is provided between the reformer 3 and the fuel cell 1. When the reformed gas generated in the reformer 3 is excessive and the reformed gas stored in the storage tank 6 is too small, a part of the reformer gas generated in the reformer 3 is stored in the storage tank 6. When the reformed gas necessary for the fuel gas is insufficient, the reformed gas is supplemented from the storage tank 6 to the fuel cell 1 by means of a blower 7. The fuel exhaust gas passes through a flow meter 9b' and is fed to a reformer burner 5, giving its heat to the reformer 3. A fuel exhaust gas storage tank 10 is provided between the fuel cell 1 and the reformer burner 5.
