Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable multiplex photo transmission by means of multiwave length light, through coupling and separation of multiwave length light efficiently with a simple constitution, by using a recess diffraction grating having the function decreasing the aberration of spectral image at a specific wave length region especially. CONSTITUTION:Electric signals different from wave length each other are converted into mono-chrome photosignals with photoelectric converters 11-13, and are transmitted to the focus 4 of a photosignal coupling recess diffraction grating 1 with optical fibers 21-23. The output terminal of the fibers 21-23 is located to the position of incident angle where the diffraction angles are equal, and the light diffracted and reflected at the grating 1 is converged to the input terminal of transmission optical fiber 2. The photosignal output from the fiber 2 is converged on the focus 5 of the optical signal separation recess diffracting grating 3, and the light of each wave length reflected and diffracted at the diffraction grating 3 is converged to the focus 5 to give the optical fibers 31-33 located at the position and to be transmitted to photoelectric converters 41-42, allowing to make multiplex photo transmission by multiwave length light.
