Description
The invention relates to the transmission of information and may be used in a telemetric measurement system. A device for transmitting signals from a rotating object is known, which contains optical fibers whose input ends are located along a cylindrical surface around a rotating object and the output fibers are optically coupled to a common photodetector. The disadvantage of this device is its complexity. The closest in technical essence to the proposed invention is a device for transmitting information from a temporary object, containing a light source mounted on a rotating object, a light guide whose internal cylindrical surface is coaxial with the rotating object, and a photodetector. A disadvantage of the known device is the low accuracy of measurements due to insufficient output power. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy by increasing the output power. The goal is achieved by the fact that a light guide device, the cylindrical inner surface of which is located coaxially with the rotating object, and the photodetector are inserted into the photodetector and the outer surface of the optical fiber is made in the form of segments a flat helix ending in a flat end, each photodetector is installed in the flat end of the corresponding segment of the flat helix. The drawing shows the proposed device. A device for transmitting information from a rotating object contains a rotating object 1, a light source 2 (LED), a light guide 3, photodetectors 4 (photodiodes), segments; flat helix 5. The device works as follows. The input signal is supplied to LED 2, with which it is converted into a light flux. The latter through the inner surface of the light guide 3 passes into it, reaches the outer surface, is reflected and pops onto the photodiode 4. Since the outer surface of the LED 3 is made of segments of a spiral 5, the path of the light flux through the light guide 3 is reduced and reduced loss of light energy. Due to the fact that the photodiodes 4 operate on a common load, the output signal is generated at any position of the LED 2 on the load.
