Abstract
The invention relates to a measurement technique and is intended for the contactless conversion of movements into an electrical signal. The aim of the invention is to increase the sensitivity and expand the range of measurable displacements by increasing the efficiency of use of the radiation flux. For this purpose, the converter is equipped with a spherical concave mirror 5, covering the common end of the lead 2 and collecting 3 light guides and located at a predetermined distance from the end, providing an increase in the linear portion of the conversion function. The spherical mirror 5 re-radiates, in the direction of the surface 6 of the object, radiation that does not directly hit the input ends of the collecting light guide 3, which increases the radiation power that reaches the photodetector 4. 1 Il.
Description
The invention relates to measuring technique and is intended for non-contact conversion of static and dynamic movements into an electrical signal.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the sensitivity and widen the range of measured movements by increasing the efficiency of use of the radiation beam.
The drawing shows a diagram of a fiber optic displacement transducer.
The converter contains a radiation source, a supplying optical fiber 2, a collecting optical fiber 3, a photodetector And a reflecting spherical mirror 5. Position 6 indicates the surface of the object whose movement is measured.
Fiber Optic Transformation Tel works as follows.
Поток от источника 1 излучения, распространяясь по подводящему световоду 2, излучается его выходным торцом в виде расходящегося пучка лучей, часть которых, отражаясь от поверхности 6 исследуемого объекта, Попадает на торец собирающего световода 3, а часть - на отражающую поверхность сферического зеркала 5» «о горое пении емого лучи, дуемой поверхности объекта измерений, торец собирающесамым увеличивая расаространяющеследовательно, переизлучает эти лучи в направотражающей поверхности исследуобъекта таким образом, что эти вторично отразившись от исслепопадают на входной го световода 3, тем мощность излучения, гося по волокну, и, мощность потока, поступающего на фотоприемник 4, что в итоге приводит к повышению чувствительности преобразователя .The stream from the radiation source 1, propagating through the supply waveguide 2, is emitted by its output end in the form of a diverging beam of rays, some of which, being reflected from the surface 6 of the object under investigation, fall on the end of the collecting fiber 3, and part on the reflective surface of the spherical mirror 5 about the mountain singing of the emitted rays, the blown surface of the object of measurements, the end, which is going to increase by itself, expanding, consequently, re-emits these rays in the direction-reflecting surface of the object under study in such a way that these are secondarily reflected shis isslepopadayut from the input of the light guide 3, the radiation power Gosia along the fiber, and flow rate supplied to the photodetector 4, which ultimately leads to increased transducer sensitivity.
Размещение зеркала 5 на расстоянии R от общего торца световодов, удовлетворяющем соотношению .The placement of the mirror 5 at a distance R from the common end of the optical fibers, satisfying the ratio.
R=2[F-(0,58а-0,76Rfe) clgU р-2,26RC J, где а - расстояние между осями волокон общего торца световодов;R = 2 [F- (0.58a-0.76R fe ) clgU p-2.26R C J, where a is the distance between the axes of the fibers of the common end of the optical fibers;
Rc - радиус сердцевины используемых волокон;R c is the core radius of the fibers used;
ир - угол раскрытия индикатрисы излучения подводящего волокна;and p is the opening angle of the indicatrix of the radiation of the supply fiber;
F - the focal length of the mirror 5 \ provides an increase in the linear portion of the conversion function, which leads to an extension of the range of measured movements.
