Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a titled device which is so constituted as to enable melt casting of every one shot to be performed by heating and melting powder or granular high m.p. alloy material through high frequency induction treating and which permits die casting by quick melting without impairing the quality of the material.
CONSTITUTION: After stainless steel or Ni-base alloy is controlled to the form of powder or granule in about several mm in the predetermined composition, it is charged into a raw material hopper 4. Next, the raw materials in the hopper 4 are supplied at every constant amount, into a crucible 3, and are induction-heated and melted by the high frequencies of several tens W several hundreds kHz by a high frequency induction coil wound on the crucible 3. Thence, the crucible 3 is fed to a pouring port 2 after a fixed time by a rotary table 5, and is tilted by a crucible tilting device 6 and a crucible tilting air cylinder 7, whereby the molten metal is poured into the port 2 and die casting is accomplished. As a result, the high m.p. metal material of more than 1,000°C is cast through automatic controlling by a die casting method without requiring human power.
