Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the transfer of heat of condensation from being reduced due to the penetration of noncondensing gases by a method wherein two boiling point liquids, i.e. a high-specific-density low-boiling point liquid and a low-specific-density high-boiling point liquids being incompatible with each other are filled in a closed container, and a sub-pipe with both ends opened is provided in the interior of the container.
CONSTITUTION: When the vapor bubbles 14 of the high-specific-density low-boiling point liquid 11 in a heating zone A move upwards through the liquid 11 and the low-specific-density high-boiling point liquid 12, the pumping action of the bubbles causes the liquid 12 to flow through the sub-pipe 20 into the liquid 11 as indicated by arrows, and to move upwards due to buoyancy. During this process, the liquid 12 contact with the bubbles 14, thereby exchanging heat with the bubbles 14, and the circulation of the liquid 12 stirs both the liquids 11, 12, whereby the transfer of heat by convection between the liquids and the inside wall surface of the container is promoted. Accordingly, the heat conveyor of an improved efficiency can be obtained by eliminating the influence of the penetration of noncondensing gases and preventing the reduction in the transfer of heat of condensation.
