Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution by passing lights, differing in wavelength, through the same fiber and by constituting data highways differing in control system by wavelengths. CONSTITUTION:A light signal transmitted from optical fiber 3 is separated by branching filter 21 into three kind of lights of 1.5mum, 1.2mum and 0.9mum in wavelength. The light of 1.5mum is converted by photoelectric converter 22-1 into an electric signal, which is transferred to the 1st highway control part 23-1. Then, the electric signal is written in buffer 24-1 when judged to be sent to information processor P or transmitted to the 2nd highway control part 27-1 when not. On detecting assigned transmission timing, control part 27-1 sends the data transmitted to buffer 28-1 out of information processor P and it is converted by electrooptical converter 26-1 into a optical signal, which is sent from syntheizer 25 to the optical fiber together with other light signals.
