Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a metal composite material for decorative parts composed of two or more kinds of metal materials which are metallurgically joined by putting plural metal blanks of different color tones into a metal case, evacuating the same and hermetically closing the same, then cutting this from the direction intersecting at an arbitrary angle and further subjecting it to hot and cold rolling.
CONSTITUTION: Two or more kinds of metal blanks of different color tones having shapes of powder-, grain-, wire-, plate- and tip-shapes are put into a case made of stainless steel or the like having a melting point higher than that of these metal blanks. After the inside of the case is evacuated and is hermetically sealed, the case is hot worked by hot rolling, hot extruding, hot drawing, hydrostatic hot extruding or the like, whereby the blanks are metallurgically joined to themselves. This hot worked material is cut from a direction intersecting with an arbitrary angle therewith and the cut pieces are taken and are further subjected to hot or cold rolling, whereby the metal composite material for decorative parts constituted by two or more kinds of metals of different color tones having metal color tone patterns is produced.
