Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain electric discharge processing method which assures easy and stable processing of a work into any intended configuration by using an electrode of simple form such as a wire, rod and pipe and by giving 2-axis or 3-axis feed, according to the requested configuration, to the gap formed by said electrode and work, which are placed facing to each other. CONSTITUTION:Electrode 1 is sent along the Z-axis into the work's 2 hole, where processing is being carried out, and moved in the X and Y axes to make the required processing. Feeds in the X, Y and Z axes are performed by applying signals programmed in a numerical control device 13 to the respective motors 11, 12 and 10. At the same time, pulsed discharging is performed by a power source 14 between the tip or sides of the electrode 1 and the work 2.
