Abstract

PURPOSE:To enlarge adjustable range of the drive position of a car by providing possiblity for the accelerator pedal, clutch pedal, brake pedal and steering wheel to move fore and back. CONSTITUTION:A steering bracket is fixed in a movable bracket 8 provided inside the instrument panel 1. An end of a wire cable 10 for accelerator pedal is fixed in this movable bracket 8, where a clutch 19, brake pedal shaft 20, brake master cylinder 21, booster (brake mastervac ) 21a and a steering column 22 are also installed. The movable bracket 8 slides fore and back on a guide rail 24 laid on a stay 23. The steering wheel 27 shall be slidable axially within a specified extent through a universal joint and a double-structural shaft. Thus, the adjustable range of drive position can be enlarged.
