PURPOSE:To enable to perform diffused reflection of pressure wave applied to ink and to obtain a high density multiarray type head having a high reliability, by a method wherein, in a multiarray type ink jet head, minute convexities and concavities are formed on the inner surface of an ink relay chamber. CONSTITUTION:A block 20 for a relay chamber for ink feeding, connected to a multinozzle part 17 is provided with an ink feed pipe 18 and defoaming pipes 19, and 19'. The inner wall of the relay chamber 20 is formed with an uneven surface such that a wall material itself is formed in an uneven surface as shown in a drawing, or a thin layer formed with an uneven surface is adhered thereon. Ink in a plurality of channels in the nozzle part 17 is heated by means of a heating unit in each channel in accordance with the electric signals from outside, and is varied in pressure to be discharged from an orifice 21.
