Abstract

In this power source, the AC output of the high voltage generator HVG is converted to the appropriate voltage through the transformer T, and the voltage of the DC power source is turned to a fixed level of voltage via the constant voltage circuit VS to be applied to the capacitor C. The inter- terminal voltage of the capacitor C compounded with the AC output of the transformer T to be applied to the discharger 7. In general, the more the water content of the transfer paper the less the DC component of the separated current. And when the water content of the transfer paper increases, the separation enable range is reduced.
