Abstract

PURPOSE: To hold fluid pressure at an outlet at a prescribed value by providing a pressure detector closely to the fluid outlet of a variable evacuation mechanism driven by a driving mechanism and by controlling the driving mechanism by the controller on the basis of the detection output of the detector.
CONSTITUTION: The detection output of pressure detector 14 provided closely to outlet 8 of variable evacuation mechanism 5 is supplied to controller 15, which generates an electric control output on the basis of its set conditions and the detection output and sends it to electropneumatic converter 16 which converts the quantity of electricity into air pressure. As the fluid pressure at the side of outlet 8 is reduced, the air pressure from converter 16 is increased to permit piston 11 of driving mechanism 12 to move toward mechanism 5 against the activation of spring 10 and then to stop at the position where the air pressure gets balanced with the reaction of spring 10. Consequently, evacuation rod 4 moves toward the outlet side to decrease gap length L, so that the fluid pressure at the outlet 8 side will rise. Then when the fluid pressure exceeds a value set by the controller, mechanism 12 is brought under the opposite control to the said control to reduce the fluid pressure at the outlet.
