Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten the cycle time of cargo work and improve cargo storage space efficiency, by providing the cargo housing portion of a stacker crane located in face of shelves, with a conveyor and a transport link mechanism which acts between the conveyor and cargo on the shelf.
CONSTITUTION: When a drive link 28 is swung in the direction of an arrow 47, a hook link 26 supported by a support link 27 and the drive link 28 is protruded from a state A to another B, namely, to the left of a chain conveyor 14 so that the hook link 26 is engaged with the handle 12 of a bucket 7. When the drive link 28 is swung further in the direction of the arrow 47, the bucket 7 engaged with the hook link 26 by motion from a state B to another C and from the state C to still another state D is horizontally pulled out of a shelf-inside storage position line 48 so that the end of the bucket 7 is transferred onto the left-hand end of the chain conveyor 14. When the drive link 28 has performed one revolution to a state E in the direction of the arrow 47, the hook link 26 is disengaged from the handle 12. A chain 16 is then driven in the direction of an arrow 50 by a motor to pull out the bucket 7 on the chain 16 from the state E to another F and from the state F to still another state G.
