Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to transport a load upwardly by pinching it by a method wherein endless type driving belt and the same type pressing belt are arranged so as to extend into th vertical directions in parallel and to oppose the surfaces of both belts.
CONSTITUTION: When the load 3 is thrown into the carrying part 5 of the driving belt 2 through an introducing port 15, the load 3 is trnasported into the direction C along the driving belt 2. When the load is brought to a position between the pressing belts 6, 10, it is pinched between the pressing belt 10 and the driving belt 2 by the action of pressing devices 9, 14 and begins to be moved upwardly into the direction D without being dropped by this pinching force. The load 3 pinched in a vertical space between the pressing belt 10 and the driving belt 2 is moved upwardly further without being spilt therefrom because both end selvages of the pressing belt 6, 10 are piled up and is transported to the delivery part 4 of the driving belt 2 along the delivery guide 11 of the pressing belt 10, then, is discharged into a discharing port 16 from the rear end of the delivery part 4.
