Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the manufcturing man-hours of a multiple magnetic head or the like, by producing the coil element of a magnetic head, the head substrate and the feed substrate separately and then laminating these parts into one body. CONSTITUTION:The coil element A is produced by the lithography technique. The hollow part 5 plus the magnetic substance patterns 6 and 7 are formed on the insulated substrate 4 to obtain the head substrate B with the bed gap G formed at the front edge part of the substrate 4. The conductor patterns 9 and 10 are formed on the insulated substrate 8, and at the same time the feed substrate C is formed with the lands 9a and 10a which are to be used for the joint parts to the element A. The coil part 3 of the element A is stored in the hollow part 5 of the substrate B, and the both ends of the core component 1 are connected to the patterns 6 and 7 to form the connection terminals 11 across the coil 3. After this, the substrate C is stacked onto the subtrate B so that the lands 9a and 10a of the conductor pattern are connected to the terminal 11 of the element A, and then the both substrate B and C are adhered together with a pressure applied.
