Abstract

PURPOSE: To discriminate rubbing vibration by finding set values of not only the phase shift but also amplitude change of an unbalance component, the main component of rubbing vibration, at the time of a speed change and constant speed.
CONSTITUTION: The vibration of bearing system 6 is detected by vibration detector 5 and, after being amplified by vibration gauge 7, is converted by A/D converter 8 into a digital signal, which is inputted to data processor 9. Data processor 9 separates an unbalance component and find two set values of its phase shift and amplitude change at the time of a speed change and constant speed. Those values are compared respectively and secularly to judge various rubbing states, so that judgement results will be displayed on display unit 10.
