Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a short period of solidification by a method wherein an insulative varnish having a solidification ultraviolet rays is dripped and immersed into a coil for electrical appliance during its manufacture, thereafter the solidification is performed by the ultraviolet rays radiation and a high frequency heating. CONSTITUTION:When a coil for electrical appliance is to be manufactured, an insulative varnish of unsaturated polyester containing cross-linked monomer, photointensifier, radical polymerization initiater, curing accelerator etc. is dripped into the coil and immersed therein. If required, nonorganic filler agent such as quartz glass powder, hydrated alumina powder and talc etc. are added. Then, the ultraviolet ray is radiated by the ultraviolet ray-lamp to solidify the surface of the varnish, and a heating treatment is applied to the varnish by a high frequency coil. With this arrangement, a period of time required for processing with varnish for the coil is substantially reduced, a volume of volatilization of the volatile compound element of the varnish is also reduced, resulting in that a continuous automatic manufacturing may preferably be performed.
