Abstract
PURPOSE:To utilize a high frequency energy efficiently, and to executing the fixing swiftly, by constituting so that a temperature characteristic of the product of a dielectric constant of a toner and a dielectric power factor is positive. CONSTITUTION:A toner is constituted so that its temperature characteristic of the product of a dielectric constant epsilon of the toner and a dielectric power factor tan delta is positive, and it is epsilon tan delta >=0.16 at room temperature and becomes 1.2 times or more at 50 deg.C. To this toner, a coloring agent, a charge controlling agent, etc. can be added. It can be applied to a magnetic toner, as well. For instance, by using a develper which has mixed a toner obtained by mixing 10pts. carbon block to 100pts. epoxy resin, with a carrier, a clear and satisfactory fixing picture is obtained in 5 seconds by a magnetron of 2,450MHz and 1kw output. As for this toner, epsilon tan delta is 0.19 at room temperature, 0.29 at 50 deg.C, and its ratio is 1.5. In this way, since a temperature rises swiftly, an excellent picture is obtained quickly by means of high frequency fixing.
