Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an influence on an equipment side even if an electric power feed detecting circuit run into trouble during data transmission, by feeding electric power to the equipment on detecting an electric power feed command received via a circuit for data transmission and then by changing the circuit over to the equipment side. CONSTITUTION:The feed of electric power source 5 is commanded depending upon the existence of a carrier on data transmitting circuit 101. As the carrier is detected in electric power feed detecting circuit 3, electric power feed command and change- over circuit 4' is driven to put electric power source 5 to work and after the electric power feed, change-over circuit 2' is changed over to the dotted-line side as shown in the figure. Then, circuit 101 serves as the leased line of data processor 1 and is kept disconnected from circuit 3. The electric power disconnection command passed through the circuit is decoded by processor 1 and power-source disconnection commanding circuit 6 is driven to turn off the power source. After the disconnection is made, circuit 2' is changed over again to the solid-line side. Thus, even if circuit 3 runs into trouble after the power source is put to work, no influence upon processor 1 is exerted.
