Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a rigid joining of blocks as well as enhance the working efficiency, by providing for combination the joint component formed by laminating the gap controller and the glass into a body and having the substantially same heat expansion coefficient as the blocks to be joined together between both the blockes to be jointed.
CONSTITUTION: The glass 3 is put between the gap control components 4 and 4 to obtain the joint component 12 having a 3-layer structure. This component 12 is put between two magnetic heads 5 and 6 which are joined together by the glass with gaps 13 and 13 secured. Such assembly is then heated up in a furnace with the pressure applied. The distance between the heads 5 and 6 is controlled by the components 4 and 4 of the joint component 12, and both the heads are joined together by melt-sticking of the glass. The glass having a lower softening point than that used for joint of the core blocks 7A and 7B is used for the glass 3 of the component 12.
